All of these treks start from Kaza, Kaza is a Spiti’s capital from where you make your base camp to varied spire from where you can get panoramic views of the Himalayan mountains. An easy 1.5-kilometer trek along the Spiti River from Dhankar convent to Dhankar Lake promises sublime views of the villages under. The Dhankar Lake itself is a place where you can sit back and relax during the cool mountain air.

The mountain ropeway from Kibber to Chichum is also another popular tourist attraction that offers illustrious views of the gorge below, as well as a bird’s eye view of the vertex peaks.
  • The two valleys are quite different in character, Spiti is more moorland and hitch to cross, with an average rising of the valley floor of 4,270 m (14,009.19 feet ft).
  • It is appended between noble-minded ranges, with the Spiti river rushing out of a gorge in the southeast to meet the Sutlej river.
